KINGSTON, R.I. – The University of Rhode Island Athletic Hall of Fame is accepting nominations for the Class of 2026 through Thursday, Oct. 1.

To date, there are more than three dozen individual and team nominees up for consideration for this year's class. Nominations can be submitted by completing the online form available on GoRhody.com or by emailing nomination materials to Shane Donaldson, associate athletic director for communication and new media at shane_donaldson@uri.edu.

Physical materials may also be mailed to: Shane Donaldson, Associate Athletic Director/Communication and New Media, University of Rhode Island, 3 Keaney Rd., Suite One, Kingston, R.I., 02881-0810.

This will be the first class inducted since 2025, when Geoff Camerson (men's soccer), Jeremy Collins (men's track and field), Lilli Falconer Deering (women's swimming and diving), Jasmine Jennings (women's track and field), Anthony Latronica (men's soccer), Darren Rizzi (football), Michael Sims (men's golf) and Kevin Smith (football) were welcomed.
 
Individuals submitting nominations are asked to be as thorough as possible when completing all fields on the Hall of Fame nomination form - especially collegiate academic and athletic honors. Providing updated contact info for both the nominee and the person completing the form is helpful as well.

Information about the induction ceremony will be shared at a later date.
