Rhode Island finished second with 164 team points at the Ocean State Invitational, hosted by Brown. Dartmouth was the winner raking in 177 points. It was the second meet for the Rams in as many days, after the distance squad represented at the Friar Invitational Friday.

Highlights from the Competition
- Kai Schmidt-Bilowith won the 110 meter hurdles with a time of 14.50 seconds.
- Jack Reichenbach won the high jump after clearing 1.95 meters. John Santos placed third (1.95m)
- Isaiah Powers placed first in the pole vault with a mark of 4.55 meters. Neil Waldhausen finished third (4.30m).
- In the shot put, the Rams placed four of the top five. Stephen Cirella won after throwing 15.74 meters, Derek Jacobs placed second (15.40m), Chris Tavarone was fourth (14.96m) and Nick Morse finished fifth (14.56m).
- Rhody also had four of the top five performers in the discus, with Jacobs claiming first after a 50.66 meter throw. Cirella placed third (45.60m), Tavarone fourth (44.74m), and Morse was fifth (44.54m). The throw by Jacobs sits sixth all-time.
- Cirella finished fifth in the javelin (53.82m) while Lucas Stage was seventh (50.71m).
- Rhode Island had another four of the top five finishers in the 100 meter, led by Jolon O'Connor (10.65s) who finished second. Tristen Howard (10.69s), Abraham Tambah (10.74s), and Nathanial Barjolo (10.94s) rounded out the top five.
- Liam Creeley (21.57s) and Jordan Ross (22.38s) both earned points for the Rams in the 200 meters, finishing third and sixth, respectively.
- The 4x100 meter relay team of Barjolo, O'Connor, Creeley, and Howard won in 41.14 seconds.
- In the hammer throw, Sam Bond placed third (57.98m), Jide Akinjisola was fourth (56.27m) and Johnathan Buchanan was fifth (55.28m).

The Rams head to Storrs to compete at the Northeast Challenge hosted by UConn starting next Friday, April 15.
