- Rhode Island and Central Connecticut State are playing for just the fifth time.

ELLIOTT ONE WIN AWAY FROM 100 VICTORIES WITH URI
- Gareth Elliott has won 99 matches over 12 seasons at URI, with an overall record of 99-70-28.
- With one more victory, he will become the third coach to reach 100 with the Rams.
- Ed Bradley is Rhode Island's all-time leader with 192 wins over his 17-year run.Â
- Geza Henni is second with 175 victories in 20 seasons as the head coach.
- Elliott and Bradley are the only URI coaches to be named Atlantic 10 Coach of the Year. Both earned the honor twice.Â
- Bradley won the award in 1995 and 2001, while Elliott did so in 2014 and 2019.
- As a player, Elliott ranks ninth in program history in goals scored (31) and fifth in assists (25).
- He has been part of seven of the eight Atlantic 10 Championships in URI history, winning two as a player (1999, 2000); two as head coach (2018, 2019);Â and three as an assistant (2003, 2005, 2006).
