Sophomore
Hannah Benavides and freshman
Ella Hacker finished the Atlantic 10 Women's Swimming and Diving Championship on a high note for Rhode Island Saturday, as each advanced to the consolation finals in their respective events.
Benavides placed 14th in the 200 breaststroke with a time of 2:20.42. Her performance gave the Rams three team points.
In the final individual event of the meet, Hacker was 13 th in the 200 butterfly. After clinching the final spot in the consolation final during the morning session, Hacker improved by three spots in the afternoon. Her time of 2:04.81 earned four team points for the Rams.
Sophomore
Kelsey McMenemy just missed a spot in the consolation final of the 200-yard backstroke. Swimming in the third heat, she placed 18th with a time of 2:02.73, just 0.54 seconds behind the 16th and final spot for advancement.
Rhode Island's top finisher in the 100 freestyle was freshman
Abby Zadorozny. She placed 35th in the field of 65 swimmers.
Sophomore
Maddie Tetreault finished 21st out of 37 entrants in the 1650 Freestyle.
Rhode Island placed 10 th in the 400 freestyle relay when Massachusetts was disqualified for a violation. The URI team of

Mia Bonvissuto and
Camryn Kreuscher earned 14 team points with a time of 3:28.38.
