PATRICK H. HORGAN III '83, a standout golfer for the Rams, won the 1980 and 1981 Eastern 8 Conference championships and the Toski Intercollegiate title. He is currently a PGA touring professional. At the time of his induction, Horgan had won the 1986 Bermuda Open, the 1991 Nike Yuma Open, the 1991 Nike Macon Open, the 1994 Rhode Island Open and the 1996 Nike Alabama Classic. He shot a low professional round of 63 on the Nike Tour and a 64 on the PGA Tour. His highest PGA finish was fifth in the USF&G Classic in New Orleans. Horgan is a member of the U.S. Golf and the Professional Golfers Associations and the Newport Country Club.
