Mark Brockwell was a three-year standout and key member of the 1984 Rhode Island football team that won the Lambert Cup as the top team in the East and advanced to the NCAA I-AA Playoffs. 

A First Team All-Yankee Conference at the linebacker position, Brockwell was an All-New England selection and an honorable mention All-American pick as a senior in 1984.  He finished his career with over 200 total tackles, with more than 100 solo stops.
