MARY C. GAMBLE '42 earned four letters at Rhode Island during her collegiate career, garnering three letters in basketball and one in field hockey. She was co-captain of the Rhode Island basketball team in 1941 and 1942 and vice president of the Women's Athletic Association in 1941. A year later, she was the Association's president and served as vice president of her class in 1941 and secretary in 1942. She was the art director of the Rhode Island Review in 1941 and a member of the women's athletic booster club. Gamble earned her degree in home economics and went on to become a teacher.
