ROBERT J. MACDONALD '55, one of the University's most active supporters, served as President of the URI Ram Club, was a member of the former Athletic Council, and was on the Board of the Blue White Fund. He received the URI Alumni Association's Ram Award, was quite active in civic and community affairs, and was comptroller of the Charlton Memorial Hospital of Fall River, Mass.
