CAROL E. MORRIS '81 was one of URI's all-time great softball pitchers, earning four varsity letters while leading her teams to a combined 90-34 record and four straight State championships and Eastern Regional berths. She won several MVP and All-Tournament honors, and played professionally for several seasons for ASA fast-pitch teams. She was inducted into the Connecticut Scholastic and Collegiate Softball Hall of Fame and is an accomplished veterinary technician.
