CHARLES A. HALL '32 was for 30 years a member of the University staff at Kingston as Director of Alumni and Public Relations, Director of Development and Public Relations, and, upon retirement in 1972, Vice President for Development and Public Relations. One of the most influential supporters of URI athletics ever, he founded the URI Century Club and contributed greatly to its growth. He remained very active as an alumnus, continuing to support athletics, the University's alumni program, and the URI Foundation.
