WILLIAM G. MOKRAY '29 is a member of the Helms Hall of Fame and the Naismith and NAIA Basketball Halls of Fame. He was basketball historian for the National Basketball Association, basketball director of the Boston Garden for 13 years, and Boston Celtics director of public relations for 21 years. Mokray was Sports Information Director at Rhode Island State College for 13 years (1929-42) following graduation, and owned the world's largest basketball library. He was regarded as basketball's top historian and authority.
