PACE '41, a superb athlete as a 12-letterman in baseball, basketball, and football at Rhode Island State College in the late 1930s and early 1940s, was a Commander in the U.S. Coast Guard, an outstanding amateur golfer, an active leader in his community, and a successful business executive for a leading packaging firm.
