ROBERT J. HODER '62, a two-year football letterman and team captain at URI who later captained the defensive unit of the professional Providence Steamroller, became a highly successful business executive specializing in aerospace technology and athletic sales involving the sport of rugby. A player, coach and administrator, he coached the Barrington High team to five New England championships and received the 1986 URI Fifth Quarter Club's Appreciation Award for his continued support of football at URI.
