PATRICIA DOUGLAS NICOL '80 was an AAU All-American and seven-time captain of URI's cross-country and track teams who set eight records. She was head coach of both sports at West Virginia University, with her teams compiling a combined 60-9 record. She also coached track at Westerly High School in Rhode Island and was Assistant Director of Athletics at Providence College.
