Hall of Fame
PAUL F. CIEURZO '31 was professor of physical education for men, assistant athletic director, and coach of the baseball, basketball, football, and golf teams, the last for more than 20 years, and for which he compiled the finest record in history to that time. He starred in basketball, football, and track at his alma mater in the late 20s and early 30s, was captain of the football and track teams, as well as a record-holder in the shotput and discus events. At the time of his induction, he had the most years of service (more than 38) with the URI Kingston faculty.
