DR. SYLVESTER A. "CAPPY" CAPALBO '34 earned six varsity letters in track and football and held records in the pole-vault, in which he won the Conference title. A prominent physician, he continued his interest in URI athletics, and was still competing in local sports events at the time of his induction.
