KENNETH G. TAYLOR '43, an outstanding track and cross-country runner at Kingston, earned five varsity and two freshman letters. He devoted 12 years to engineering construction projects throughout the nation before establishing his own company, which later became Simons-Eastern, among the hundred largest firms of its kind in the nation. He served as president after 23 years as executive vice president, and was active in civic and community affairs as well as a solid supporter of URI.
