JOHN FULTZ '71 was a standout basketball player under coach Tom Carmody at Rhode Island from 1968-70. He was fifth on the Rams all-time scoring list with 1,834 points at the time of his induction. He was eighth and tenth in the Rhody record book for points in a season with 576 in 1968-69 and 566 in 1969-70, respectively. Fultz was also one of URI's all-time great rebounders, ranking eighth in career rebounds at the time of his induction and third and eighth for a season with 302 in 1969-70 and 257 in 1968-69, respectively.
