JEANNETTE E. CROOKER, a 1953 graduate of the University of New Hampshire who had an outstanding 38-year career at URI as a coach, teacher and administrator, was chairperson of the University's Department of Physical Education, Health and Recreation. Extremely active in her field both regionally and nationally, she is a widely recognized expert in field hockey.
