H. DAVID HEDISON '43, an all-time Rhode Island baseball standout, had a promising professional career cut short by World War II military service. An outstanding hitter and fielder, he also served as team captain. In 1942 he was named the outstanding Armenian athlete in the nation, and has served his alma mater as president of the Century Club, member of the URI Foundation, head class agent for the Alumni Association, and member of the Athletic Council. Hedison was president of Hedison Jewelry Corporation of Providence.
