DAMEON E. REILLY '86, a 5'11" wide receiver with excellent hands, made first-team All-Conference in each of his three years with the Rams, from 1983-85, before moving on to the NFL's Indianapolis Colts in 1986 and a year later to the Miami Dolphins. In 1988 he spent a year with the CFL's Saskatchewan Roughriders. He set a school and Yankee Conference record with 38 career touchdown catches, a mark that stood for 15 years, as the Rams won back-to-back crowns in 1984 and 1985. At the time of his induction, he held the URI records for career (228) and season points (102 in 1985). Only one other Ram has scored more points in a game than Reilly's 24, achieved against both Lafayette and Connecticut in 1985, and only Brian Forester caught more passes in a season. Reilly was third in career receptions and second in yards receiving at the time of his induction.
