SYLVESTER "MOLLY" MCGEE '74, a two-time All-East and All-Yankee Conference running back and three-year letterman, was seventh in rushing yards, fifth in rushing attempts, and fifth in rushing touchdowns in URI football history at the time of his induction. He later played for the NFL's Atlanta Falcons, the WFL's Charlotte Hornets, and the CFL's Ottawa and Saskatchewan clubs. He later became a successful insurance executive.
