JOSEPH W. PINTO '25, a nine-letterman at Rhode Island State College in baseball, basketball, and football in the early 1920s, was also a coach, referee, and teacher, devoting more than 40 years to the education of mentally retarded young adults in New York City. He maintained active ties to his alma mater for many years.
