NANCY CARPENTER FRENCH SCHOCK '43 earned three varsity letters in both field hockey and basketball while captaining both teams. She headed the Department of Physical Education for Women at URI and was a pioneer in the coordination of Muscular Dystrophy Association services throughout New England.
