FRANK A. DIPIRO '55, an Honorable Mention All-New England quarterback, also played freshman baseball, varsity track, and club hockey at Rhode Island. He was listed in Who's Who in American Colleges and Universities and in 1954 played four 60-minute games. In his last two seasons the Rams posted a 12-3-1 record. He also finished fourth in the Yankee Conference in the javelin and spent 20 years on the Fifth Quarter Club's executive board. After graduating, he attended Tufts Dental School and coached the Jumbo football team; he also coached football at Brown in 1961. He is now a successful dentist in Rhode Island.
