JAMES A. WARREN '58, was a 12-letterman in track, baseball, and football, captain in the latter two sports, and a prominent member of URI's undefeated 1955 football team. Very active as an alumnus in supporting Ram athletics, he was a member of the URI Athletic Advisory Board and president of the URI Century Club. President and treasurer of J.H. Warren Company, he is a member of the Providence Gridiron Club Hall of Fame and, with daughter Elisa Warren McDonough, represents one half of the only father-daughter combination in the URI Athletic Hall of Fame.
