THEODORE S. CLARKE '40, a leading track star in the late 1930s, won nine letters in track and cross-country, captained the indoor and outdoor track and cross-country teams. A president of the URI Alumni Association and URI Century Club, he has served on the Athletic Council and received a number of URI awards. He was a successful business executive in chemical specialty sales.
