RAYMOND P. FREITAS '59, prominent businessman who has been one of the most ardent supporters of URI and its athletic program, has served as both secretary and president of the Fast Break Club for basketball, and was a member of its executive board for many years. He was president of the former Ram Blue White Board and received the URI Alumni Association's prestigious Service Award. He was elected a trustee of the Board of the URI Foundation.
